George Minnix has participated in nine Polio Immunization events as a Rotarian, in India and West Africa. In this episode (part one of a multi-part series), George explains the reality of polio and the effect on children in the few areas of the world where the polio virus is still uncontrolled.
George is leaving this week for the West African country of Ghana, joining other Rotarians in Amsterdam for the inbound flight.
Sometimes, done is more of a point in time than a condition; it became important that the first Episode of the Rotary Polio Podcast get done rather than pronouncing it to be in polished and finished condition.
